Centrifugal Heat Pump Using Waste Heat ETI-W series

High-efficiency heat pump that effectively utilizes waste heat to supply hot water at temperatures up to 90℃

The ETI-W series is a high-efficiency, water-to-water centrifugal heat pump that recovers low-temperature waste heat to supply hot water at temperatures up to 90°C, offering an alternative to conventional fuel-fired boilers.
By utilizing electrically driven heat pump technology, the ETI-W series helps reduce both CO₂ emissions and operating costs.

Feature 1: Effective Use of Waste Heat to Supply Hot Water at Temperatures up to 90℃

Using waste heat at temperatures from 10℃ to 40℃, such as cooling water and process waste heat, as the heat source, the ETI-W can supply hot water from 50℃ up to 90℃.

Capacity and Temperature ranges
Hot Water Heating Capacity

Feature 2: Large Capacity Equivalent to a 1-Ton Boiler, Helping Reduce CO2 Emissions and Operating Costs

Delivers heating capacity of up to 640 kW per unit, equivalent to a 1-ton once-through boiler

  • Suitable for hot water demand in electronics, automotive, food, chemical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities
  • Can also be combined with steam boilers to support a phased approach to decarbonization
Annual reduction in CO2 emissions
Annual running cost savings

Comparison Conditions (Rated operation: 3,330 hours/year)

1-ton once-through boiler

Thermal efficiency: 95% (fuel oil), 97% (city gas),
Heating output: 603 kW
Low heating value (LHV):
Class A fuel oil: 36.7 MJ/L
City gas 13A: 40.6 MJ/Nm3

Energy prices

Electricity: JPY 22.76/kWh
Class A fuel oil: JPY 97.9/L
City gas 13A: JPY 128/Nm3

CO2 emission factors

Electricity: 0.422 kg-CO2/kWh
Class A fuel oil: 2.75 kg-CO2/L
City gas 13A: 2.05 kg-CO2/m3

Feature 3: Low-GWP Refrigerant HFO-1233zd(E)

The ETI-W series uses HFO-1233zd(E), a refrigerant with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 1 and an Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) of zero.

We can estimate the energy savings, CO2 emissions reduction, and life cycle cost (LCC) benefits of introducing the ETI-W based on your facility conditions.
